you just opened, and had about 3 slices out of, but this morning discover a nat in the bag crawling around? Or would you pitch the rest of it?

Even though a gnat-- or two wouldn't hurt you- the thought of it grosses me out- no ifs ands or buts about it - I would pitch it!

nat? Ant, maybe? Either way, they don't eat much. Just toss that slice and use the rest of your bread.

Insects are full of protein....so what's the big deal? You do realize in a lifetime you can swallow upwards of 8 spiders during your sleep? Think of all the candy bars you eat with animal droppings in the mixtures... Now do you think a gnat has any affect?

I would eat it.

A gnat isn;t going to hurt you. In fact you probably eat 2 a day and dont even know it. There are very insects that will actually hurt you if you ingest them.

You've probably swallowed more gnats than you know. Brush it off/let it fly away and have a sandwich.
