I am talking to my ex-boyfriend again and it's amazing..until recently it had been almost 2 years since we last talked, and 3 years since we last saw each other. But newayz he was my first love and so far he's my only love. He say's he loves me too and I think I believe him, cuz he's not the type of person to lie about somethin like that. But anywayz he promises to call me sometimes and he doesn't.. I don't understand why..but he says he doesn't want a relationship right now..I live about an hour 1/2 away from him so its kinda long distance..I hate not knowing what he's doing. He's only 19 so he likes to go out and run around and stuff..How can I get this guy to want to be in a relationship with me? I love him sooo much!

you can't so don't even try, respect his wishes and let it be the worst thing you can do is try and make someone do something that they really don't want to do. like you said he is only 19 he is still young and wants to enjoy his teen years and you should be wanting to do the same trust me what you think is love is nothing but a very strong like and when the next guy comes along your gonna feel the same way, so let him be and be glad that he told you instead of playing games with you. he sounds like a great guy don't lose the friendship by trying to make him be in a relationship that he does not want

first of all, you shouldn't want to force him into it because in the future, he'll resent you for it. if it's meant to happen again, it will. give him time and space. let him be the young man he is and the adult that he is to become. he already has a mother; I don't think he wants or needs another... he's telling you through his words and actions that he isn't where you are emotionally, so be patient and who knows, the 1 that you're SUPPOSED to be with might come along during your wait...

keep in contact with him and maybe he'll come around in a bit, but you can't force this type of thing. even if you end up convincing him to try again, if he's not really into it you both will end up unhappy anyway.

i have to agree with meika, he's being polite, doesn't want to hurt your feelings, but i don't think he's interested in you as anything more than an ex-girlfriend.
