I've been going to a gym in order to lose weigh. Everything's been fine but it seems like I'm getting thin from everything except my waist and especially my abdomen. I'm starting to feel like a refrigerator with two sticks as legs and arms. Why is it that I don't lose weigh in these areas and what can I do to obtain results.

Desperated!!!

You didn't say what you were doing as workouts in the gym. but you got to do some type of core exercises. If they have a ball there, you can do all kinds of core exercises on this to tighten your waist.

You lose fat all over your body and not just in one spot. To get the results you are looking for, you need to reduce you body fat %.

Don't be overly concerned about weight. Focus more on looking good and being healthy. Using the following program, I lost 5 lbs a week for eight weeks.

Diet is extremely important. To slim your body you must:

Burn more calories than you eat.

Cut your fat intake.

Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps you break down your food.

Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). This will attack the fat.

Do 30 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.

I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%

Be Blessed

A person's midsection, including torso, waist, and butt holds more fat than any other part of the body. Thus those areas are going to be the last to be visually apparent when you lose weight.

There are several exercises that you can do to work your abs, but unless you are eating properly as well, it won't work. You need to reduce your fat intake and eat at the appropriate times. Watch portions and keep exercising, you should see results then.

Eat much less fat and sugar. Do 30 minutes of cardio before breakfast every morning. Do lots of ab exercises every other day, including stomach vacuums!!! Be consistent in this and no problem.

Exercise and stop sitting in front of the pc. Don't walk to the fridge. That is not exercise. Walk or cycle. Park and walk. Our forefathers were lean and mean on their stomach. They ate well and worked hard with little time to sit.
