depending on how callous the person is.......................
most people who lie can't look the other person in the eye, this means they have a concience.
people who look in your eye and blatantly tell you a lie are cold and callous.

anyone can lie to someone whilst looking them in the eyes. The person you are looking in the eyes just needs to know how to read your eyes when your lieing.
Because when you are lieing your pupils dilute but many people dont know this or look for this when they are talking to someone especailly if they are talking to a friend family member or partner.
So if ya wanna know when someone is lieing just concentrate on their eyes and see if they dilute. also watch they way they move the rest of their body and if their eyes stay fixed on yours or move away every so often.

It's actually true for those people who know how to read eyes. Because the pupils of your eyes get bigger when you lie. But most people can't read eyes so you can look them in the eye and lie your butt off.

Well, I've been lied to straight-faced so I know it's possible. I could never lie to someone as it is, but looking in their eyes......truth is bound to come out. You can tell by a person's eyes if they're lying or not.

i think its true i used to cannot look at the person eyes but now i can .. n like i heard that if u lie yr eyes will move to the opposite eg(if yr right handed = yr eyes move left and vice verse) i think im having the eye movement thing now..

you can, but unless you totally believe your lie yourself, your eyes shift back n forth really fast. but usually a good way to tell if someone is lying is beause people generally *choose* not to look into someone's eyes when theyre lying to them. most people look down and to the left while they lie.
