It certainly can be--it is good occasionally to stop and enjoy a period of silence and meditation. As uglygrandmother said so well, being silent allows you time to listen, a very important thing, indeed. But, sometimes, being silent is the worst thing you can do. There are times when morality requires that we speak up--against an injustice.

nicely Silence will be a source of power for your ideas and Soul , reason in case you'll save the ability of no longer speaking the position its no longer required, your ideas can use that power for some thoughtful procedure and it promises you with an inner peace because you could be a lot less keen on valueless Arguments. although even as your silence can damage your or somebody else's interest then you honestly could enhance a voice .

Yes. If you are silent, you can listen. Only when you listen will you gain knowledge. Only when you gain knowledge can you experience wisdom. And wisdom is the greatest strength we can have.
Besides, remember the old proverb: Even by his very silence, may a fool seem wise!

You mean like the 5th amendment. That's what kills me, we
have the right to remain silent, so we won't incriminate ourselves.
That's what I think the wsidom in silence is.
But people rarely use it. They are on their EGO trips, thinking
they can talk smack. And lie in your face, knowing you know their
lying, and steady lying!
Communications skills teach that people don't know when to quit.
Like, they win you over, and then get full of themselves, and
say something stupid, and lose you right back.
Make your point, and let it soak in. Believe in YOURSELF, and
others will believe in you too.

not necessarily for if one sees injustice one needs to speak out against the action. what would have happened if enough people had said something like " wait a minute here " when Hitler started performing the atrocities he did? or when the Europeans started taking over the country. or numerous other examples of mans inhumanity to man.

Silence in the form of meditation, yes. Silence as in the form of "just such up and do this blindly", NO WAY.

Silence is good in the correct place.
It is not good to be silent about something wrong that is going on. That is being a silent devil.
