Of course they do!! They have sooo much more TO loose. The more fat you have the easier it is to loosse! If you dont have much its hard!! Your body needs that fat! But it doesnt need excess fat!

Because they have more to lose. If a person weighs 280lbs they must consume 2800 calories a day to maintain that weight. So by restricting their calorie intake to 1200-1500 calories is a drastic drop in calorie intake.
If you are a normal weight for your height cutting back too much on your calorie intake will cause your metabolism to slow down because it doesn't know when it will get fed again. Try eating 6 meals or snacks a day. This will keep your metabolism running at it's best. Don't skip breakfast as it kick starts your metabolism for the day. Make breakfast your biggest meal and just eat light healthy meals the rest of the day. Be sure to include all the food groups.

The more fat you have, the easier it is to loose it. You may not have anything to lose or it may take you a while to do it.
I lost 40 lbs in eight weeks and took my body fat from 30% to 14%. That was 3 months ago and I have not lost anymore fat.
Be patient and healthy. You really need to keep lean protein in you system.

They have more to lose so it comes of easy. My uncle is a bigger guy and has struggled with losing weight and keeping it off. When ever he starts a new diet he loses a ton of weight very rapidly but once he starts getting into a more normal/healthy weight the pounds come off much slower, and that is when he usually end the diet.

When you are severly over weight it doesn't take much to begin the process to loose weight. Check with your doctor, if you are really being that strict with your diet and excersise maybe you don't really need to loose that last 10 lbs.

the first thing u lose when u'r trying to lose weight is water..and overweight and obese ppl have more water in their body than skinny ppl..that is why they lose weight faster..fat alone is not easy to lose..it's the last energy source ur body will use after u ran out of carbohydrate and protein..exercising more than 30 minutes per day will force ur body to use the fat in store..but try to eat a balanced meal at the same time..ur body needs all the nutrients u can get..
