Isaiah 41:23:

Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods;
Yes, do good or do evil,
That we may be dismayed and see it together.

Psalm 82:6

I said, “You are gods,
And all of you are children of the Most High.

John 10

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

Peace.

Jesus is quoting Ps 82:6,

Contary to what many have said about Isa. 41:23,

Jesus is not quoting this verse. He is challenging the false god's of the nations to prove their godship. It is the same challenge he made to Baal (1 Kings 18)

Isa 41:24 shows that Jehovah viewed these "gods" as nonexistent.

Isa 41: 21 “Bring YOUR controversial case forward,” says Jehovah. “Produce YOUR arguments,” says the King of Jacob. 22 “Produce and tell to us the things that are going to happen. The first things—what they were—do tell, that we may apply our heart and know the future of them. Or cause us to hear even the things that are coming. 23 Tell the things that are to come afterward, that we may know that YOU are gods. Yes, YOU ought to do good or do bad, that we may gaze about and see [it] at the same time. 24 Look! YOU are something nonexistent, and YOUR achievement is nothing. A detestable thing is anyone that chooses YOU.

At Ps 82 Jehovah is saying that because the judges of Israel, were representing Him in judging by His standards, they are "mighty ones"
a god having the power of life and death over His people.

Jesus too, has been given authority over Jehovah's people, Jesus too, has the power of life and death over Jehovah's people, Therefore Jesus is a "mighty one" a god.
(Matt 28:18)

Psalms 82:6: "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."

Isaiah 41:23: "Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together."

And in Jesus's own words in John 10:34: "Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?"

Interesting to think about what our true potential is, as literal spirit children of our heavenly father...

I believe it is Psalm 82 or 89? He was talking to the Elders how the stood in the place of God in their judgements.
It's Psalm 80 something.

They were walking into the temple grounds where there was snow on the ground and a small crowd waiting for him.
Argueing with him, they began to pick up rocks to stone him. This was basically his way of defusing the situation quietly.
