it depends on the allergy.
common food allergies are:
Nuts
Lactose in Milk/Dairy products
Gluten - used in wheat based baked goods, and many other baked goods.
Seafood (which can be common in diabetics)
Those are probably the most common - but folks can be allergic to a LOT of things, it's different depending on the person. The severity of the reaction CAN be fatal - so food allergies need to be taken seriously.

Nuts, Dairy and Fruits are really common food allergies. Peanuts are REALLY common so you have to watch out because some fast food places cook with peanut oil. That is probably the most common.

Working for kids with disablities, there are certain food we can't serve. Any peanuts, seafood. And I know not even soda. WE give them juice. Any fatty milk products as well. Lactose intorelant.
