I've been sent to UK to do this work for an year.
Now, I made a bf who I really care, and I'm so sure that I'm in love, and he is too.
Now, for the beginning of next year, I'll be sent to US for a position, a pay raise, a car and a house prepared...but I don't know if I'm happy cuz I love my bf...very much.
Should I say this to my boss, the real thing, that I'm in love?
Or shouldn't I bring my personal life into work? Would that lower my ability as a company staff?

maybe your bf could come with you...or fly to America a few times in the coming year. If the company you work for is setting you up with such a sweet deal, they may hold it against you if you put a bf in front of the corporate good...better check out your company's culture about those things.

You never mix business with personal. Your love life is not your boss's business and regardless of whether you fell in love or not, you were sent to do a job and you need to perform those tasks as requested. If your BF loves you and your job is such a good one then maybe he can move to the US with you while you are there working. That's what someone in love would do. You'll already have the car, the house, and the job so you'll be taken care of. Although I'm not sure what kind of job they are giving you with your horrible grammar. If your boyfriend can't go with, then it really isn't love....

If you are sure of your feelings and of his feelings then marry him and bring him back with you. Trust me on this when I tell you that life in the US is way better than life in the UK... I know this from experience... I lived in the UK for the first 30 years of my life and have spent the last 5 living here in the US... the difference is night and day. Most people living here in the US do not realise how easy they have it.... Imagine having to get a license every year just to be able to watch TV - or you could be fined and/or go to jail!!! (Don't believe me?... just check out this link to the TV Licensing Authority in the UK: http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/information/detectionandpenalties.jsp

I think you should talk to your bf and make sure you're on the same page in the relationship. Seems there's nothing wrong to tell your boss that you have started a life in the UK that you would like to continue to persue. I wouldn't come out and say "Oh my gosh I'M IN LOVE"...lol unless maybe your boss knows him and is causal. gl

Tell your boss the situation. Worse case scenerio... he makes you choose between your BF and the job. Best case... he let's you stay there. Worst thing you could do is not say anything, then nothing happens. I doubt you'd be fired over the whole thing... unless your BF is a coworker... but that's a whole different can of worms.

Business and pleasure don't mix. If you don't want to lose credibility, don't go to your boss, I suggest you go on on your business trip. If the relationship is serious and the two of you love each other, alittle separation won't change that, and perhaps the boyfriend can come visit.

Yes it probably would because they may think at any time you might bale on them. You would probably lose some trust at work or lose your job. Would your new bf move with you? You have to decide if he is worth you missing out on this great job opportunity, if he won't go with you.

well you can say it to your boss. but i doubt if you would still be considered for a promotion in the future. it's hard to really mix work with personal life. usually one has to sacrifice.

Talk to your boyfriend, is he that interested in you? Maybe he'd like to tag along too!
