There are four sources for help for financial aid to go back to school on the college level.

First, FAFSA.ed.gov will help you tap into both federal and local college financial aid sources.

Second, 35 states in the United States offer a web page for applying to colleges and requesting help. If your state has one, use Google or Yahoo to search for it.

Third, most college financial aid offices have a listing of private scholarships listed on its website.

Finally, there are free membership scholarship search engine websites on the web. Most are updated on a regular basis.

Just remember to apply before the deadline, get updates from the website, and review the organization's website before applying for a scholarship.

Good luck!

Your question is very vague. It really depends on where in the world you are. Different countries, indeed, even different regions offer different help to adults (if that is what you are?) or children.
