It enhance the beauty of the region as hair does for our head. It looks beautyful with pubic hairs, however it all depends on how you look at it and your taste. It also serves as cushion while intercourse. One can also shave his partner pubic hairs to express love and then have a skin to skin touch.

Its just how we evolved.
You notice that there are certain parts of the body which loses heat quickly (groin and armpits especially)
Evolution has deemed that hair should still be at those 2 spots in order to protect us from the cold perhaps.

It's a hint for those who are too stupid to figure out how to have sex by other means. If they can't figure it out, then they're too stupid to procreate and that's a good thing.
