Singapore teaches us not to discriminate racially or wateverlah. But this is discrimination. I just want to voice my opinion. We smokers are already ban to smoke at the bus stop and interchange. Well i respect that decision. Then they raise up the price. Lan-lan cannot do anything still got to buy the expensive cig. And then the govt stops us from smoking at the coffeshop and delegate a small confine space to smoke. I think pig-sty is bigger. Isnt tat discrimination. Discriminate us smokers. We still human wat. And we got our needs. All that really makes ur smokers look super bad than it already is.
I personally think that smokers have to be educated, not discrimated. Educate abt quitting the habit. Or educate to smoke away from non-smokers/crowds. Delegate a smokig area big enough for all to share with good ventilation and all. Or introduce a cigarette that contains natural herbs or ingredient tat is not harmful to everyone else. Come on this is the 21st century. If they can invent things tat is only a fantasy 10 years ago why not invest RnR on cigarettes that do good to the body.
And non smokers too have to be educated about smoking. Then they will really know how diff is it to stop. Personally i really respect those ex smokers that have already stop smoking. YOU pple should give encouragement and not discriminate the smokers. Endless encouragement not countless discriminations!!

Boys that smoke at his age wont have hot bodies later. He will be short because smoking stops you from growing (imagine a short boyfriend - ewww). Do you want a boyfriend like Brad Pitt or Danny Devito (type that into google images for a preview of what your boyfriend will look like as he gets older).
He will most likely start smoking marijuana which makes you dumb. So dumb he wont be able to string a sentence together.
You sound too smart to have a dumb boyfriend like him.
Make sure you learn your times tables off by heart tonight.

Let me get this straight.....a 5th grader is smoking? Where is he getting the cigarettes?? Let his parents know. If they smoke,they arent setting a very good example for him! He also may be stealing theirs!
Also, look up pictures of what smoking can do to your lungs. Hopefully this will be enough to scare the crap out of him and he will quit!

Go tell his parents and teachers. Because is a sign of mixing with bad company. This is the first step to drug, next step he will take drugs, I bet. Very sad, pri 5 student. No future, must act fast.

Bottom line-- He will never quit until he realizes he needs to. You can try showing him documented proof of links to major health concerns for starters. Contact the American Lung Association at their web-site. They are always willing to provide this info. Best of luck on a noble but difficult goal!

give him one fact: Tell him smokes give off 4,000 chemicals and 400 gasses and that one of the gasses is radioctive plutonium. (this is a highly deadly gas).
Also tell him if he smokes a carton a week at $40 per carton he will spend $2,080 per year up in smoke.
Also tell him he looks ugly smoking LOL

he has to want to quit. no one can make him, but if you think he's not really addicted yet, then start the PEER PRESSURE big time and get your other friends involved.
Let him know how nasty it is, and how girls wont want to kiss him.
I'm a smoker at 36, wish I had never started.
