Nope, I think I will keep with my pro-choice out look and remember that it is a woman's personal choice what she does with her body and not my right to push my beliefs on her. What happened to the "God is in control" approach? If God can make the world and everything in it then destroy cities because there was too much sin why does he now need you to judge the people? You can't have it both ways. Either God is in control or you feel the need to be in control.

No, because public displays of prayer and worship is not appropriate, nor is it our job to force our rules on others. Yes, abortion is wrong, but the task Christ gave Christians is to preach and teach the Bible to other individuals. If they don't want to listen, than their choice is upon their own head, and their children share in those choices, just like those who died in the great Flood and in Sodom and Gomorrah. Christians who involve themselves in the politics of abortions need to remember tha God intends to destroy all the nations of the planet, along with anyone involved with them. To be Christian means turning your back on the old system and not trying to change it. If you keep turning back to the old world, thinking you know better than God on what should be done, and you will learn the same lesson that Lot's Wife learned when she turned back to the old world.

if it would really make a difference--had for several years; have found one on one talks to be much more effective and less offensive; although i do make moral issues a matter of prayer, and lend my ear and shoulder. i stand in the gap as prayer warrior.

Unfortunately our church schedules the annual blessing of the animals and, more importantly, baptism preparation class at the same time, and we teach the latter.
