Ultimately it really doesn't matter how his parents feel about you. You don't give us much information. Why is your bofriend's dad mad at you. If yourbf is a great guy talk to him about the situation. Maybe he can help smooth things over.

are you sure that he's mad at you and not just some grumpy old man. i don't think you should put as much effort into getting the dad to like you as much as your bf. i know it's better if everyone can get along but you should really concentrate on your relationship with your bf.

I think you should just be yourself, but a little bit better whenever you're around him. He'll see what a great person you are.
