What is Truth ?

In defining Truth, we must be aware that there is a relatively unknown dimension to it that may in fact be the original sin...as in truth can lie...

If I said I had a coin in my hand, this would be true, it would also be a lie, because I had a pen in my hand as well, this is the half-truth.

If I asked you what you saw on the face of the coin, you would give me part of the answer, the other side you could not see, then there is the matter of depth...a dimension neither of us could see...

Common dictionary definitions of truth mention some form of accord with fact or reality. There is, however, no single definition of truth about which scholars agree, and numerous theories of truth continue to be widely debated. Differing opinions exist on such questions as what constitutes truth, how to define and identify truth, what roles do revealed and acquired knowledge play, and whether truth is subjective, relative, objective, or absolute.

Truth is things as they have been, as they are, and as they will be in the future. In one word, reality. Christ is the ultimate reality, because of Him, all things were, are, and will be.
Discovering truth can only be accomplished with God's help (through the Holy Spirit) and not left to mans ideas. I believe this is the Light, clearing out the darkness and exposing reality.

Truth is a theory that there are absolute truths that trump the others. It is in all reality just an Ego boost. Many christians love to stroke that Ego.
