I met this girl a couple weeks ago when a mutual friend invited me to her house. We really hit it off, and she seemed to like me too, but from what I later found out se sees me just like her younger brother. She's two years older than me. I'm in the army, so I'm not home that often, about once every three weeks.

You gotta let her see another side of you that she didn't know.
But there's no need for you to go out and put on a show. Just let nature take its course. Your chance will come eventually.

What a great opportunity to start a relationship. You can start by sending her cards with brief notes while you are away. Don't try to be too pushy with the romance aspect as she may run the other way. Show her your funny side, women love a guy who can make them laugh. After a few months, see if she begins to change her attitude about you. THEN start telling her about your dreams for the future and slightly hint that you'd like for her to be a part of your future. Good Luck to the both of you!! Keep asking questions and I'll see how much more i can help you.

Well first understand....that us girls are looking at spending a lot of time with the guy that we want to have a relationship with.

once every three weeks aint gonna cut it.

Try again once you get out of the army, get a good job, get a place of your own. and a decent car....then you can call me.

Come on dude, Just forget it. Making her understand that you have a thing for her and for her to change her mind from BROTHER --- > LOVER ...is going to be one hell of a ride. I know we men always like lots of women , one at a time or many at a time and probably want to pursue more than one but be a gentleman and just move on. Give urself a break.

Take her to a dinner when you come home for a weekend & tell her that you came home for her. And tell her you were thinking about her during the whole 3 weeks !!!. And if you get the chance, kiss her (pretend something like a goodnight kiss or good bye kiss)

If they say see's you as a younger brother it is a female way of saying they are never going to shag you, it is too let you down easy thats all.

She is say that because she does not want to hurt your feelings.

Move on.

I would say..Be open to her about your feelings..they being that you would like her to go on a date with you upon your next return home...let her know she has three weeks to think about it, dont pressure her to answer immediately...then go see her when you get home....start off..."about that date......"......easy, no embarrassment to you or her and you get your answer..!!
Stay safe and happy..whatever the outcome....

sorry dude. unless something spectacular happens she isn't going to change her opinion.

most ladies I know use that line as a way to say that they just aren't that interested.
