Sleeping is not forbidden at all, but in Ramadan usually people get up in the middle of the night to pray and read Quran, and later eat before fasting time and then go back to sleep, many Muslims who do not have much work in the morning spend their nights praying and their mornings sleeping

No it's not forbidden to sleep while fasting, as long as it doesn't keep you from praying the five prayers, so you may take a nap after Duhur prayer for two hours then wake up and pray Asur.
Allah is the most mercyful, he wouldn't forbbed us from what is good for us, you must always keep that in mind.
And to brother Nasser, muslims don't eat bacon, it's forbidden, for the pig is a filthy animal.

No, but excessive sleeping is not allowed. Max should be 8 hours, as the day is split into three parts - sleep, work and leisure.

After Iftar yesterday we all went through a Ramadhan checklist to remind everyone what should happen during this holy month. After Iftaar and Taraweh, you can sleep, then get up for Suhoor, it is obligatory to have that because it is blessed - this is what our Prophet (S.A.W) said.

By all means have a nap during the day, but don't miss your prayers.

Sleeping is not wrong while fasting. But don't let your sleeping miss you from praying.

I'm copying from Louly: "but it's better to spend ur time in praying and do religious things" because Ramadan is a blessed month. If you do a good deed in Ramadan, your reward is upto 70 times as in other months. So try your best to achieve it.

I don't think it's wrong. Sleep is important if you can get it. Can you function on only 5 hours of sleep? That's something to think about.

Also, you could ask a religious leader what their opinions are. They might have some good advice.

Actually, the most relaxing sleep you can have is a quick two hour daytime nap while fasting. Your body is completely relaxed, since it doesn't have to work at digesting food, and it makes the time go by very quickly.

I think it is allowed to sleep.

There seems to be no rule stopping you to sleep during the fasting. But you are supposed to do the regular work during this period.
