ok i`m 5ft4 tall and proud. do women like short men as much as tall men. i really don`t have any hang ups about being short but i`m curious to know wot women think

dando i really don`t have issues being short lol i`ve done ok getting women. this site is about asking questions. my character is a little like duddly moore, i`m just a bit whackier. it`s my personality that has attracted women. u could say i`m the life and soul of most parties lol

well that stirred up some emotions lol i have to agree that eye to eye contact is fantastic between a guy and girl. mind u we`re all the same size laying down! this ones gonna be a tough one to say which is the best answer. the funniest so far is tall guys and tall girls have beautiful babies lol righteo lolol. well done all and thank u and keep em coming :)

if i met a man shorter than me, he'd be a horse jockey...or a little person.
i personally HATE craning my neck up at abnormal *yes tall ppl are ABNORMAL! nanners!*, giants. i think they should all squat!
anyways...my hubby is 5 4, and i LOVE that we see pretty much eye to eye..even if he is still taller than me.
and I'm NOT SHORT d@mnit, I'm travel size!

I'm quite tall. I'll probably choose mayb d same height or a little shorter.
We hear lots of people say that good looking and wealthy guys get all the beautiful and good-looking girls. That is the biggest MYTH. This is simply not true!
It does NOT matter if you are ugly, bald, or fat!
It does NOT matter what age you are - 18 or 80!
It does NOT matter if you have a low paying job!
You find this hard to believe right?
Most guys do, but let me tell you this...
Whatever your appearance, age or occupation, you can be transform into a man where women will fight over to win you.

I too am exactly 5'4" tall. My wife is 5'61/2" tall, weighs 9 stone and is absolutely gorgeous. I have never dated a woman that wasn't taller than me and have never found a problem. Why do you have to say you're proud of being 5'4" - it's not illegal! It suggests some kind of apologetic tone. God, there are people with all kinds of much more serious conditions that being a bit under the national average! I do believe it's true that women like a man with a sense of humour. A very attractive female friend of mine when asked the question 'Who would be your ideal man' answered 'Woody Allen, he's so clever and funny,' not exactly Brad Pitt in the looks department but then Brad Pitt's not much else in any other department. I wouldn't say I was proud of being 5'4" - it has never crossed my mind to proud or ashamed.

Well personally I prefer tall men,I don't know why but I've always felt that way and considering I'm only 5ft tall and my husband is 6ft 2in we look quite funny together,but don't worry loads of women adore short men,I've just gone through a list of my friends and 7 out of 10 of them are with men shorter than them and none of them are really tall girls.So at the end of the day it's true that size doesn't matter!

I think most women like their men to be taller than them. Your 5"4 there would be plenty of girls shorter who would love a 5"4 man. Or even some women like shorter men (rare but can happen). Personally i prefer a man taller than me im 5"4 too.

Makes no difference to me - the person themselves is what counts - my husband is actually a couple of inches shorter than me...
I dont think most women are shallow enough not to go for a guy based on his height - I have a male friend who is only 5ft 2" and he's never had any problem getting women - it's all in the personality!

I'm 5'9 and wouldn't like to be taller than my fella. I don't like being tall though, so I know how you feel really. Some small men seem to have a problem with my height as if it's my fault I am tall??!! But hey what can you do? We're healthy!

Being a 5ft 9 woman myself, I do like the taller men. And being a soppy romantic, I like the idea of having to get on my tip-toes to kiss a man.
However, my best friend is 5ft 5 and she likes her men the same size as her. She feels she is being "looked down" on by taller men.
Either way, height should not matter if you find the right person.

I like men with good personalities. I don't care too much one way or the other how tall or short they are.
I happen to be married to a man who is 6 ft. tall and built like a bull, but I didn't marry him because of his height or his size--I married him because he's a great guy.
If you have a great personality, and a woman really likes you, and her only hang up is that you are short, she's not worthy of your attention. Move on.

Personally in an ideal world I'd prefer a man who was taller than me, easy cos I am a midget anyway!
But more to the point, I wouldn't choose a man based on his height. I've had long relationships with taller/same/shorter. And any woman who will choose you based on your height aint worth having! :)
