I found this site below, don't know if your friend will be in it. You could do an INTELIUS.COM search but that will cost.
After you get their birthday, you could tell them WHAT DAY of THE WEEK they were born on with this calculator, second site.

There used to be one, but it was taken online. I don't know if there is another. Why not just ask the person or his or her friends / relatives?

ZabaSearch.com and type in their name. It'll also tell you some of their addresses too.
