Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
Luke 2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
Remember that none of the cultures in the world at the time of Jesus' birth used the kind of calendar system that we have today. Years were calculated in terms of who was the ruler, how far into his reign and when important events like wars, floods, etc occurred. The exact year of Jesus' birth is given in the Bible. It was the year of the first taxation under the governor Cyrenius. This was during the reign of the emporer Augustus.
Using what records survive from the time period, about 400 years after the facts, the early church fathers placed the birth of Jesus in what we know as the year 1AD. Since then additional discoveries have shown that Cyrenius was actually governor on two occassions, and he had a taxation during each of those reigns. As the Bible says it was the first taxation, it would have happened in the year 4BC instead. (One of the famous "contraditions" in the Bible use to be that Cyrenius only had one taxation - until the records of his first term as govenor were discovered. And once again the Bible was proven right.)
What day was Jesus born? Again, as there were no birth certificates issued at the time, there is no record of the day.
But note that we also did not know the day of birth for many famous people. Julius Caesar's birthdate is unknown. Modhammed's is unknown (debated between april 20 and april 26) Shakespeare's is unknow. We only have a baptism record, not birth certificate. Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, Columbus...
I could continue with a very lengthy list if you want...
Why is the birthdate unknown? Because at the time it happened no one knew yet that it would be important. Just as no one knew the Julius Caesar at birth would rule most of the known world or Shakespeare at birth would write his plays. 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing - but impractical.

the bible does not tell us when Jesus was born but we know when he died. the Jewish calender Nissan 14, the last supper or as the Jewish people call it the passover. he was six month younger the John the Baptists. he was not born on dec 25. the Shepard's where out in the field and that time of the year, it is cold and rainy season, so Jesus was not born on the 25 of dec. it may of been in October. people think he was born on dec 25 but that is not true. Jesus told us to celebrate his death not his birth.

It was sometime in the year 0 AD, close to Dec. 25th but due to historical facts such as how long it would take the 3 kings to get there, the date is between Dec 20 to Dec 29.

Using our current calender he was born ( most think around tax time , or September) 33 years before his death. What we now call the “common era” Was known as before Christ. You can see many different cultures use many different calenders. so it would be -33

God does not tell us because he does not want anyone to celebrate this day but we know that it was approximately October 5th or 6th.

Perhaps once upon a "times", if the God "shew"(plural of show), which defines itself as "allegory" & "mystery", is notably purposed to: shew Who is the blessed and only Potentate (of Law and Grace) in his "times". Perhaps his times as Jesus & Christ, since God is "excepted"(exempt), sent his Son in his stead, but notably not to condemn(law) the world, and notably not until "the fulness of the time" for the law part of the shew expired, since law(lie), of law(lie) and grace(truth), had an expiry date, and such babe & childish law law expired, l-o-n-g ago.
So then it becomes compare-i-son of natural/spiritual:
First man Adam was a living soul... natural (one "man")
Last Adam is a quickening spirit... spiritual (one "man")
Before: "created" (of created/made)... an image "part"
After: "made" (of created/made) ... the likeness "part"
Pst - God said: let us "make" man
Problem: "one proselyte" can also be "made";
Such like notably called: more the "child" of hell.
When spiritual, it's "comparing" spiritual with spiritual.
Jesus: "division" and not peace (babe->child->man)
Christ: "peace" and not divided (made perfect man)
So "through Jesus->Christ" end focuses on C of J->C.
To wit: "that God" was in "Christ" reconciling the world.
As for a "babe", it is NOT what God said let us make.
"God said": let us make "man", of babe->child->man.
Babes can only digest milk, then milk & honey pablum.
Children get tossed to<->fro by winds(spirits) of doctrine.
It's evident no "man" justified by the law in the sight of God.
So the "perfect" MAN is therefore Christ: "the end of the law".
In Christ there is: no law = no sin = no death = no hell either.
So all the world is reconciled in Christ, not alienated in Jesus.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.
