Your specialist would have told you that the treatment is not a 'magic cure'. The re-shaped blood vessels will never be 100% good at supplying blood, so 'ischaemic' pain is still available.
You will also have been offered followup and possibly physiotherapy to assist your recovery. (lots of people pass up these services because there are more immediate issues to think about)
Frequent, gentle sessions of 'recumbent' (pedals in front of seat, instead of below) cycling are usually the most suitable exercise to rehabilitate your blood circulation. 'Frequent' means every day if possible; 'Gentle' means little or no perceived effort: the pedals should glide round, without seeming to need much help. This type of exercise is NOT meant to make you breathe hard or sweat, and sessions can be long (40 minutes to an hour, or more) IF NO PAIN OCCURS.
VERY IMPORTANT: Talk to your doctor. Be honest about your symptoms and activities. Do not expect rapid improvements.

Every time I had an angioplasty, I would have another heart attack within 6 months, usually within the first 60 days. I had 7 heart attacks total, 4 angioplasties with and without stents, before they finally did a bypass around the area in the LAD that was causing me problems. Haven't had one since, but with all the damage from those, I now have heart failure. Go figure
Don't hesitate to call your cardiologist, or even to go to the ER if it just isn't right. You know how you felt before, and how you feel now. Listen to what your body tells you.

People I know who have had this done, recovered fairly quickly so I think you need to go back to your doctor for advice.
