Has any one heard or use Dumong's catfish bait I here it's suppose to be good ?

Raw chicken liver is the best all around catfish bait I have been able to find. I wrap mine in panty hose to form a small ball, then wrap a small rubber band around the top to close it up, it is extremely hard to get off of the hook when done this way. Also a good bait is hot dogs soaked in strawberry cool aid. Cats like strawberry flavor for some reason. Next time you go take along some wheaties or raisen bran, get some wet with lake water then form into a ball use some dry ones to get a good consistency, make in a ball and put on a treble hook.

Not used it, but, catfish will eat anything, so, it probably good. I just use a Hot Dog. Cut into 1/2 inch chunks. If, Dumong's is like a Dough they make a cool thing for this. It like a Ribbed Plastic Worm about 2 inches long with a Treble Hook and leader line all rigged. The Ribbing help hold your dough. I use a little Cooking Oil mixed with the Dough. Some lady told me about this and it works. But, I not use dough anymore, just a Hot Dog.
