One of my tooth hurts really bad i had a root canal done on that on before. So i went to the dentist and he told me i couldnt really have any pain there because i have had a root canal. I dont know what to do now it still hurts though. Help, please!!!!!11

How am i gonna be able to afford that, is there any special plan for students? Its just getting to expensive.

Definitely sounds like time for a second opinion! There are many reasons your tooth could hurt even though there has been a root canal done on it. There could be another infection that needs another treatment. If it is a molar there are some instances where there is an additional canal that is difficult to find. By all means get a second opinion!

Second opinion... There are many reasons a tooth that has had a root canal treatment can still hurt, including "less than optimal" treatment, which the dentist who did it would probably not recognize. Consult with an endodontist.

if u have a root canal and its still hurtin, you may have a recurrent infection at the end of the roots. you should see and endodontist, they are the root canal specialist, they will have to redo the root canal all over again.

See an endodontist. It could be an infection but i think you should get another opinion.
