And actually NO I wasn't sure on where to put this. I'm board, at work, and I felt like asking a question.

Don't really mean to offend "religious" people by any sense either.

EDIT: There is NO point, this is a question, not a statement, I merely provide examples to go by.

Actually don't REALLY mean to correct you, but isn't the huge evolution theory there supposed say humans evolved from APES (or more possibly a more command ancestor)?

The question "does evolution exist" almost always refers solely to (3) biological evolution. Darwin's theory of evolution referred directly to this, and the debate is between this and creationism, intelligent design, etc. Whether an individual evolves into an adult, or whether technology evolves over time, for example, is undisputed.

There is strong scientific evidence of Darwin's theory of evolution, although some believe that there are forces other than natural evolution (such as God) that have contributed to life as we know it.

Science proves we haven't evolved from monkeys! Its amazing how scientists will always place the missing links with thousands of years from ape to man without any evidence while set aside the bible that really does the same with creation of man from dirt.

One thing if for sure humans make errors , Im pretty sure something man made ( a dictionary ) that will always have mistakes will prove nothing in terms of evolution. That goes along with science. If ( Big if ) the bible were some myth, it surely is one myth that has over 2,000 years had information way more advanced than even science has to offer. For one example the bible states the earth isn't flat but yet current science stated other wise ( around the 1000ad - 1500 ad). There are so many verses in the bible that have yet to come and some that did even before current science had showed us so!

Bible myth or truth is debatable, but saying we came from monkeys is fact, is plain false!

The contention of fundies is not so much the word 'evolution' and it's varied meanings, but specifically, evolution of species, and even then, there contention is not even with the concept of evolution (most admit to "micro" evolution), but really just anything that contradicts Genesis.

Genesis vs. the dictionary? I'll take the dictionary, but fundies will not.

So what's your point?

Evolution is reality. Creationism belongs in the fantasy Disneyland genre.
