There are new studies out showing that HIV is not nearly as contagious as once thought.....BUT STILL DAMN CONTAGIOUS! The infected semen from the male (well....duh!) needs to enter the body through some sort of tear, which is common in anal and vaginal sex....MOST TIMES NOT EVEN NOTICED! The infected semen has to stay at a constant temperature, so going straight into another persons cavity is prime for living. If HIV is on a table (say someone was cut and bled on the table) and wiped off, it is most likely very dead, as the table is not 98.6 degrees, however, Hepatitis is still active for up to THREE weeks without the proper dissenfectant. Believe it or not, outside of the body, Hep is MUCH worse than HIV.....but don't play around with either!

why would you want to try luck? Get checked if you did. if you didn't yet.........don't! Be safe. don't compare it to getting pregnant. that's chancing it too. However with getting prego there is only a 3 day window to furtilize an egg. so if you know when your egg is on the move....don't have sex. if you know someone has HIV don't have unprotected sex, it could show up years later. Then what are you going to do? Notify all sex partners you have it so they can all get tested. how embarrassing that would be and potentially fatal in health

Do you play Russian Roulette too?
If you have sex with a person that has ANY STD you are risking infection just by contact the very first time.
Pregnancy is a matter of timing. STDs don't use a watch and don't discriminate. They will infect you. So always protect yourself by practicing safer sex.

It is possible that you might not contract the virus. But chances of that are VERY VERY VERY slim.
The only way it would not happen is if the person carrying the virus does not let their "wettness" get onto the other person's inner most stuff. (sorry about the way that sounds)

The chances are pretty slim that you wouldn't get HIV.The same as getting pregnant. Why would you even want to risk your health and life that way? Keep yourself safe at all times. You only have one life.Look after it.

Yes. In fact, the probability of getting it is not even very high. Still not a risk worth taking, though.

Yes it's possible, but not likely. You are walking a thin line by playing this game. it's like playing russian roulette with your life. that is like saying "can i cross the freeway at a slow pace without getting hit" MAYBE!! and most likely, NOT!! be safe!!
