Mine is Onion Bahjey(hope I spelled it right) it has shredded onions, with sauce and cilantro and fried like french fries with a dipping sauce Hmmm.

Prawn Curry

1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon crushed dried red chillies
4 tablespoons groundnut oil
1 capsicum, chopped small
2 large onions, sliced
ginger, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 fresh chillies, finely chopped
1 lb. prawns, peeled
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1.14 oz. can of plum tomatoes,
drained and roughly chopped
water


Heat the salt, cumin and dried chillies in a heavy frying pan over a high heat for 1 minute. Keep the spices moving. Add the oil. Lower the heat and add
the onion and capsicum. Cook for a few minutes until the onions are soft.

Add the ginger, garlic and chillies. Stir for another minute. Add prawns, turmeric and tomatoes. If the mixture is too thick add a little water. Simmer until prawns are cooked through.



Hm mm have it with nan bread and sprinkle coriander onto it

i am abit boring when i go to the indian lol. i always have the same thing because it is my favourite meal ever

i have chicken tikka - which are pieces of chicken marinated in some spices i think. then put in tandorri oven. im not too keen on sauce with my meal so this suits me great cas chicken is dry(i also put lemon juice on mine). i have that with keema (minced meat) rice. and put some of the yellow mint sauce over that. sometimes if i feel like a piggy ill have a garlic keema nan bread too lol! but then i feel like ill pop!

Chicken Tikka Masala - Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices and then served in a tomato cream sauce. Serve with rice or warm pita bread.

Servings:4

INGREDIENTS:
•1 cup plain yogurt
•1 tablespoon lemon juice
•2 teaspoons ground cumin
•1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
•2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
•1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
•4 teaspoons salt, or to taste
•3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
•4 long skewers
•1 tablespoon butter
•1 clove garlic, minced
•1 fresh jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
•2 teaspoons ground cumin
•2 teaspoons paprika
•3 teaspoons salt, or to taste
•1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
•1 cup heavy cream

DIRECTIONS:
1.In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, black pepper, ginger, and 4 teaspoons salt. Stir in chicken, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2.Preheat a grill for high heat.
3.Lightly oil the grill grate. Thread chicken onto skewers, and discard marinade. Grill until juices run clear, about 5 minutes on each side.
4.Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic and jalapeno for 1 minute. Season with 2 teaspoons cumin, paprika, and 3 teaspoons salt. Stir in tomato sauce and cream. Simmer on low heat until sauce thickens, about 20 minutes. Add grilled chicken, and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over rice.

Oh, I do love so many of the answers to this question, they are actually making me quite hungry. My personal favorite would have to be a beef Rogan Joosh (northern style red meat curry) cooked in the "Moglai" style (meaning with yogurt and ground almonds added near the end.)

I make it myself, it is quite delicious...........

Mine is Bindi Masala (I think) it's fried okra with onions and dry spices. It's delicious!

oh man indian food is my favorite. i love samosas...little fried tents of dough filled with savory meat and peas and potato...yum yum yum....and i love love tandoori chicken, baked in the tandoor and a squirt of lemon on top with potatoes and veg...also masaman chicken, lamb rogan josh, got to jet i'm going to bombay garden!

My favorite dish is green curry. It is made with green curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoots, other veggies and chicken. Yum

Somasa's chikki, Parle G biscuits. Pani Puri, dosa, homeade yougurt, ghee etc..... i hav so many I cant begin!
