Just had Tofu - Creole the other day - one of my favorites.

Yummy Yummy tofu! even my kids love it 12 & 3 yrs old. I like to marinate firm or extra firm tofu in good seasons italian salad dressing made with a good balsamic vinegar & extra virgin olive oil for about 1/2 hour then grill over charcoal! I serve this on sandwiches or over salad. I love silken tofu desserts, it makes a yummy custard that I can fill pie crusts or tiara cakes with. (duncan hines had a special pan and mixes with cake, custard & ganache back in the late 80's) Just mix a box of drained silken tofu with 1/4- 1/2 cup coco powder & some fine sugar (about a cup) ( or rice syrup if you are opposed to white sugar) blend well and pour into tiara cake or pie crust, sprinkle the top with cinnamon...

I used to not like tofu until I learned some good ways to cook it, like BBQ tofu is really good. And I just wan to add that not only vegetarians and vegans eat tofu, the Japanese have been eating it since forever and soy itself is in like everything and people don't even realize it and they say they don't like soy!

I love tofu for how it picks up the flavors around it. I love spicy eggplant with tofu at Panda Express.

I love the firm stuff in stir fry and seared with spices but I like the soft stuff in smoothies and pies. My brother seared some and we put it in vegetable wraps made with lettuce leaves or rice paper. It was delicious! Don't like it plain. Why bother when it has no taste. Like marshmallows except without all the marshmallowy naughtiness. >=)
In my fridge you will find a block of tofu, miso, soy milk, protein powder for shakes made of soy, gads I'm in it up to my boots!

Tofu has a taste! It has a nice and light soybean taste. I like Silken tofu the best.

Oh, the sesame tofu stuff they make at WholeFoods in the hot case is wonderful. Yeah, I'm a fan!

Tofu rocks. Mellow Mushroom serves it on pizzas and sanwiches. Sometimes I'll grill it up buffalo style w/ hot sauce and a little teryaki and put on a caesar salad.

Tofu is great!!! I love pick up stix "orange peel tofu" the best. Firm is best usually though.
