My hubby is diabetic, and he thought he heard that there was a new prescription medicine available, but he didn't know what the name of it was. Any help would be most appreciated.

My husband has been diabetic for over 25 years. 4 1/2 years ago, his condition got so bad that I told my children in 6 months I will be pushing dad around in a wheelchair. He could not walk more than 30 feet because of the neuropathy in both his feet. He was on 43 units of insulin a night and climbing. His weight ballooned up to 275 pounds (he is 5' 11"). He was irritable, depressed and fell asleep at the drop of a hat. He saw his doctors faithfully every 3 or 4 months and was only getting worse and worse. His Hemoglobin A1C test was 11! We were still living in the same house but I had for all intent and purposes lost him as a husband.

Four years ago he decided to take responsibility for the disease. I did a lot of research on this disease. I put together a program for him.

In the first 9 months on our program, he lost 75 pounds. He has now been off of insulin completely for over 3 years, he has been in 2 - 5K races, he walks 2 miles at the gym 4 times a week and uses the Nautilus equipment. Currently, he is on only half of his oral meds.

Oh, and his Ha1c is 6.6. His doctor is amazed - I am thrilled - I have my wonderful, fun loving husband back!!!

Our program works. I have coached many people all with the same results. Their doctors want to refer their patients to me as well.

Our program is not a diet, it's not a new medication. It's a change of lifestyle. It's taking responsibility for this dreaded and awful disease - taking control instead of allowing the diabetes to be in control.

Let me know if you would like more information.

In any case, I wish you and your husband the best - but please remember the way to cure diabetes isn't always with the newest medication.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes.

And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you.

Byetta or extendide is NOT insulin. Rather, it is a drug for type 2 diabetes that delays gastric emptying, therefore improving glycemic control.

A new long acting insulin is called Levemir.

A new rapid analog insulin is called Apidra.

I'm non-insulin dependant and I'm on a couple of different meds. One is injectible called Byetta; and the other is a pill called Fortamet. It's like avandia, actos and some others. I think after you've been put on insulin though that's all you can take. I don't think you can ever be taken off insulin and put on a non-injectible form. (but i'm not a dr. so i'm not really sure) but i'm pretty sure cuz that's how it was w/ my other family members too
