When I was really young I used to eat meat, then one thanksgiving I decided I didnt like the taste of turkey or meat, it just tasted too "meaty" for me. Ever since then I have not eaten meat and it has not been a problem for me. People think i am a weird vegitarian because I do make some exceptions, like the only meat I will eat is bacon, hot dogs - but it must have ketchup on them and they have to be either kosher dogs or cheese dogs. The other dogs are too "meaty" for me. On occasion i do get a craving for a nice hamburger, but I will only eat a hamburger from wendys, dairy queen or fosters freeze and the hamburger must have extra sauce put on it to hide the taste of the hamburger patty. However, if i do want a hamburger but not the patty, i will just take the patty off and that sure is a good way to enjoy the taste of a hamburger without the patty.

I have always had a problem cooking meat cause of the smell. But fully cooked meat doesn't bother me. Someone else mentioned pregnancy and that was my first thought... I'm pregnant and some smells, even "good" ones make me sick sometimes. Might as well take a test just for peace of mind.
Also, there are a lot of theories that say if you are disinclined to eat something, it means whatever is in it is something your body just doesn't need. So maybe a couple months away from meat with bring back your appetite. Good luck!

It could be a phase. It could also be a medical thing like a stuffy nose making things smell funny. If it keeps up and you want to eat meat again, you may want to see a doctor.
One thing to be sure of is whether you might be pregnant. Those first few weeks can do a number on the brain and body.

Its possibly a phase ...but I doubt it .....Many times people lose their desire to eat meat or other animal products for many reasons....But in listening to you question I feel its your subconscious mind possibly holding onto some bit of information you picked up and reacted to maybe an article or movie you saw????.....If most people educated themselves to this nations agri-business they would learn its just as dirty and unforgiving to the consumer as oil companies......then you would have a larger mass of Vegetarians in this society
A similar thing happened to me after I read "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlossinger. and "the Jungle" by Upton Sinclair.......I began to understand that food is energy....not just in the physical caloric sense but also to our psyche........this is why many Yogis and people on the path to enlightenment coincidentally are Vegetarian....this is not a choice they can change....its their bodies way of saying I'm changing.....they physically get ill if they were to ingest this lower vibration food...
I don't know how much you loved meat but anyone with a slight culinary in-cling can make some pretty kick *** Vegetarian food which would be nutritionally equal and taste better than most animal proteins....As long as your Vegetable proteins are balanced and you are supplementing your minerals you are obtaining the same levels of protein as you would from a steak....and in the longrun it will be better for your mind body and spirit....but understand its not a path of convience which many of people choose when it comes to the food we eat.
Sometimes our path chooses us.....whether we like it or not.....Best of luck on it

It is a long phase you are going through, where things actually show themselves as they are. I would recommend, for the time being, minimizing meat eating, but don't go vegetarian unless you want to.

It could be your mother's cooking...ha ha. If you don't start eating meat again, do yourself a favor and read some books about vegetarianism. Don't start living on bread and baked potatoes, you won't be healthy. Start eating more nuts (almonds, pistachios, NOT JUST PEANUTS). Think about taking a multivitamin, just for insurance while you are growing.

Lots of people cringe when they smell a certain food. Its just something that you dont like. I hate the smell of fish, but thats just because I think it smells gross. It may not be a problem, it could be and most likely is completely normal.

It's probably just your conscience. Murder is a pretty extreme thing to accept, and you are probably just listening to your heart. That's not a bad thing.
I had bbq sweet potatoes and asparagus, wild rice, toasted hummus and pita with a green salad with pine nuts tonight. No meat, no worries :)

All kinds of things cause such triggers. Just go with it. All my life I have found that to be the case.. but even worst in hot weather & when I was expecting my children.
