with all the commotion about spinach kills and hurt many of people i woder is spinach sake in the can like popeye spinach i dont eat the spinach from the bag

Yes. It is fully cooked. Just don't eat anything that is in a bulging can!! lol.
The spinach in question was raw. Any raw fruit or vegetable should be washed before eaten to get rid of bacteria. And cooking also kills bacteria.

Yes, spinach in a can is safe. Too bad people got sick and worse yet that some died from eating raw spinach. Strange that the country got in such a turmoil over spinach considering you are in far, far greater danger simply driving to the store to purchase it than eating it. I suppose people become jaded hearing about auto. related deaths all the time. Sorry , hope my musing didn't annoy you.

Yes, from what I understand it is only the raw uncooked spinach that was causing people to get sick and some to die. The canned and frozen as long as they are cooked should be fine to eat.

fresh spinach is the only one that is that is not safe to eat, and they said that if you cook it really well, then it is safe as well. Just make sure that you cook it very well and then you won't have any problems

the spinach that has been giving all the trouble is the fresh spinach------so your canned spinach will be okay-------so buy you a can of it and make yourself a spinach casserole---=-----

Spinich is now fine if it wasn't grown in California. If you've had the spinich for a while, I'm sure it's fine! But, just check the label to see where it was grown!

its simple, just boil the spinach in hot water and all the bacteria will die yay!! =)
