what you have said is half true, since indians have good religious practices by hinduism, thereby they can seek Truth and God.

could be , but I seriously doubt that , think about it none of the abrahmic religion preacher was born in india, I guess these religious heads are born in India , becuase they hold a lot of sway on the public , if such a person was born in any communist country where aethism is followed they would be jailed like the faulon gong followers in china , or if someone claims to be a new prophet in the middle east , but preaches that all religions are equal and islam is not superior , he would be executed publicly.so it also depends on the country and the psyche of the people on which religious heads are born.

Those who shun useless rituals and study the higher philosophies of hinduism are already spiritual

u r right though, an average Indian would find it easier to step to spirituality, as they have been trained by their religion to be spiritual

this would depend upon each individual. one shouldn't judge a whole group by an individual nor an individual by a whole group. each individual may have their doubts even though as a group they have a common bond in forging the necessary answers.
