I'm all for LEGAL immigration. I used to work for immigration and there are many decent people working hard to immigrate here the legal way. Becoming an American Citizen isn't cheap, and a lot of those people use all the money they have, just to come here and make a better life for themselves and their families. I have nothing against those people immigrating here the legal way, and actually a lot of respect for them, because they worked hard and took matters into their own hands to make their situation better, and they did it LEGALLY. It was always a touching experience attending a Naturalization ceremony at the district court house, looking out at a sea of unique, shining faces once the judge had pronounced them American Citizens.
As for ILLEGAL immigration--deport all the ones who are here illegaly, and turn the border into a target practice range for all the ones attempting to cross in the future. If you snuck across the border to have your baby here, tough $h!t. You and your anchor baby can go back to wherever you came from. There's a proper way to become a citizen of this country, and if you circumvent those laws and abuse our system, I have no respect for any of you.

I doubt I will be agreed with here BUT I really do not agree with any immigration at this point. We are already a melting pot...we are already an established country...and quite frankly we just do not need it anymore. I mean, does it really help the economy? I dunno...I think immigration is a big risk for the US and its people, period.

Of course! I beleive if people want to come this country, they should be able to... provided that they have a valuable skill and can contribute to society. That's how they do it in Australia. People have to be English speaking and have a valuable trade/skill to offer society if they want to immigrate there.
That's the way it should be here.
The people that come to this country need to work for a living, not become a drain on society.

Agree, for sure. Country concerned can have better control (over them) and plan for the necessary i.e limit/number of immigrants, selective personnel/profession etc.
