Don't laugh. there was a couple in the next community who not only got married, but had their reception at the bowling alley. She had the white ball gown, and the whole wedding thing.
Have a small party for a few family and friends.Buy them brunch, or breakfast, or lunch.. Or Have a friend host a small brunch at her house.
When we were in Vegas, at a not so fancy hotel, the entire wedding party went thru the buffet line, and sat in the regular buffet seating. They were saving seats for each other. The bride had on a white gown.
So, my point is, do anything you want.
Don't know what your community has to offer, but ours is big on having rooms in restaurants, for free, all you have to do is reserve it, and order off the menu, or go thru the buffet line.
After the party, take your husband and go get a nice hotel/motel room, pack the refrig with food and snacks and beverage of choice, and do not come out until your money runs out, or you have to go back to work, whichever comes first. Make sure the room has cable!
And why not go bowling? Change clothes, and take the wedding party, and go bowl, buy beers and snacks for everyone, have the desk announce the wedding over the loud speaker. Why not? You will remember it the rest of your life!

umm get a divorce. j/k . don't rush having a child. be sure the marriage is stable. but for fun spend the honeymoon in a place of your dreams away from everyone either of you know. a place neither of you have ever been. while you are there do something together bold and crazy like sky diving with 1 parachute or bunji jumping on 1 line. just don't water ski together on 1 ski. I tried that and we bombed. paramedics had to bring him to shore.

work at it for the rest of your lives
remember 50 / 50 is only half give - 100% and expect 100% back always. half is never enough.
