Mending a broken and tired heart doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't also happen easily. Thoughts, pictures and scenes will be in our memories and these thoughts will prevail. Meaning they will haunt. Perhaps these things will help in mending a broken heart:
First, we have to realize that these things happen for a reason Second, we have a choice of being "bitter" or "better" after the trails and storms that come our way. Third, we have to forgive ourselves and forgive others. Fourth, we have to decide once and for all to move on. e.g. we can write a letter to our past or the person that has hurt us, we can write all things that we want to forget, we can talk to a close and trusted friend, we can list things that continuously hurt us and burn the paper or throw the paper in the sea or just release it in the air symbolizing letting go.... Fifth and most importantly, ask God to make the ecperience a learning experience also never forget to be busy e.g. volunteer for a cause, go to activities and sports that appeal to you, etc.

I know what your saying, your heart is broken and has become tired also. The best way to heal after having your heart broken is to take time to learn more about your own self. Take time to be sad and happy and all the inbetweens. Time is all that there is to mend our problems. Good luck.

They say time heals all wounds, I guess how much time needed would depend upon the severity of your situation.

Don't give up on relationships... take a break, spend time with friends, family or just go off by yourself. Might just meet someone when you least expect it.

Let it rest, be true to yourself, don't share it with anyone else until it's healed.
