What do you consider dangerous? If you mean a certain breed of dog, I assure you that some get a bad deal. Like pit bull terriers. They are absolutely wonderful except in the hands of someone who intentionally makes them vicious. That's true with dogs. They are like people that way. If they're not raised right, they can be anti-social, any dog can be, but some are more dangerous if they are. But if you mean a dog that has been raised poorly and therefore is a "biter"... Unfortunately, there aren't enough people willing and able to take them in and make sure they are treated/trained/monitored properly to make sure they don't re-offend so many must be put down. As for the owners, I think there should be prison sentences for people who intentionally create such an animal and allow it to harm someone.

I would agree especially with the bit about destroying the owners as it is down to bad ownership that the animals turn out this way.
In fact, why not put the owners down and send the dogs to dog borstal, at least dogs can be re-trained, unlike the moronic owners.

I wonder if you ever had a dog or any pet fore that matter! Really
why are you so AGGRESSIVE? In the name of all my dogs I would label you as a dangerous human being and make sure to have your name listed to be destroyed.

You should utilise your time and instead of making dump suggestions, study some thins on the net. Maybe u will learn something and be able to hide your ignorance better.

Anyway, if you ever decide to have a dog make sure it is a plastic one because you would be a dangerous dog owner.

I think we have bigger things to concern ourselves with than so called dangerous dogs.
If people would learn how to act around animals rather than insist that their rights as a human being are being infringed upon if they have to walk across the street to avoid an animal there would be fewer incidents.
If people would get thru their thick heads that they should NEVER try to touch a strange animal without asking first-again -fewer incidents.
If people would just realize that dogs don't think the same as we do and what we see as acceptable behavior they do not again fewer incidents.
Add up all the incidents that humans could have avoided if they'd only educated themselves or their children and I think we'd see very few dogs or owners that are truly dangerous.
Why don't you spend a little more time worrying that there'll be no more Social Security for anyone if they keep handing out funds to pre-mature babies and drug addicts and alcoholics without care but those that truly need it must apply 3 times and be turned down before they can get an attorney to sue S.S.Admin. to get anything out of them.
Our elderly and people who truly cannot work are forced to live with NO INCOME for 3 years.
They expect folks to live in the street I guess while they wait.

Well its not that easy.

First we need to establish ownership, so why not a dog license.

Then fees, based on emissions, more excrement, more fee, or bigger dog more fee, say £2 p.a. Pekinese and £ 2000 p.a.for a Rotweiller.

No one under 18 to "own" a dog and if injury is caused then the owner should be liable as if for a common assault, the dog being destroyed automatically on conviction

i think that you are a dog rasist, dogs are just like people if you bring a dog up wrong they are going to antisocial and ignorant (just like you) and want to go round be aggressive and bitting people. Just the same as a person lots of the worlds most informas killers have people that have been treated poorley or not properly, the only difference being they get to go to jail have a lovley rest of there lives with not a care in the world (proberly get let back out) a dog on the other hand gets a certain death!!! I think you forget that the amount of dog/animal lovers like me think that your the on in the wrong, THERE IS NO SUCH THINGS AS BAD DOGS JUST BAD PEOPLE!!!!!!!

NO, I say lets talk to the owners & see what it is that
THEY are doing to make the dog act that way. Then all
those dogs & their owners have to go to dog training
school !

My cousin had a pit bull for about 10 yrs, he was one
of the most sweetest dogs I knew because she treated
him well, feed him well & did NOT abuse/beat the dog.

I think it's the owners who make the dogs behave badly by not treated them correctly.

Maybe we should give them a bit of a chance? My dog can be very dangerous to strangers who come to the house, but I find that quite a bonus! (although any thieving b@stards who get attacked by my dog in my house will still manage to sue me etc). But we have trained her that way because she's a working dog on our farm.
I think in the towns then a violent dog is unacceptable, but in the country where people have no reason to be on your land then I think it's fine, and perhaps necessary to have an aggressive dog.
