I still think about her ALL the time, even though I haven't seen her for over six months. I am young, and have a very active life, with a demanding, very high-paying job, I have many friends, have been on several holidays and business trips since we split, been promoted twice, but she is ALWAYS in my head and won't go away. What can I do?

Get in contact with her if things ended on good terms.

It may be that the way it ended still bothers you because it didn't bring you closure.

Just... call her up, invite her out for coffee or dinner, catch up on old times, and then see where it goes from there.

Obviously, forgetting her hasn't really worked so just... talk to her.

Or you could try therapy because it could help talking about her to someone else.
Or write about her in a journal. Just let it all out.

You know life is funny...we can have all the things one can possess, and it still ain't enough, seems like were always wanting something else...in other words life never seems to be fulfilled no matter how much material things we have, when we realize the most important thing...which is love, this is one thing we can neither buy, or sell...maybe your thoughts are on this girl, because you feel you have achieved everything else, besides finding love...i hope you find her again. Good Luck.

Try to get in touch with her.
This is like a naggin ache that won't go away till you address it.
Give her a call and ask her how she's been.
Hearing her voice will make you happier too...so long as you don't sound desperate on the phone.
Have a sincere chat.

well tell us how it ended in the first place...was it in good terms (kinda just died down but occasionally still friends etc.) or was it bad (like with all the drama and everything...)If it was the first one...then why not just surprise her and say hello again....you can usually pick up from there if she's still interested or if she's even available still..but if it was the 2nd one...then maybe you can just surprise her too but be sure you have the best of intentions and try and be friends with her again first...then pick up from there...but girls have a thing with return engagements (yup that's my personal term for it)...be sure to prove yourself worthy this time...otherwise you're wasting her time and yours as well...be true...be real...and be there regardless if she needs you to be there or not....let her know love can truly be sweeter the next time around....goodluck

I truly understand your feelings and have utmost respect for your love.It is highly uncommon to find guys like you who love a girl and love her deeply such that there is no space for another girl in his heart. The girl whom you love is a lucky girl to have suc ha guy like you.I suggest you trying to get close to her and find out if she does indeed have feelings for you again,if she's single. She might be also loving you, just too ashamed to say it to you.Continue showing her love and make her feel that you mean the world to her.She would eventually understand your feelings and when the time is right, give her a rose and tell her you love and want her to be yours and only yours forever!Good luck!True love lives!

Why don't you give her a call and see what she is doing. Maybe you can get together for a lunch or dinner, Maybe she feels that way about you and wishes you would call her sometime.
