Well, you can live without one and you can't without the other. Contrarily to the song lyrics, when you're hungry love won't keep you alive. But, money will buy you a cheeseburger!

I'm 53 years old and have been married for 30 of them, and I can say quite seriously that, while from a romantic standpoint money takes a back seat to love, when the passion cools after a few years and the love gels into something more like a really close friendship, if the money isn't there what's left of love soon leaves. There is an old saying; When money flies out the window, love walks out the door." Believe it.

Money is important but take the following scenarios
Having just enough for a comfortable life with all the love in the world from a wonderful group of friends and family.
or
Being filthy rich & draped in materialistic rolex, with huge mansions all over the world, but alone & never trusting your friends or family or partner that they are with you for your money & not 'you the person'
Well I know which I would choose & no money in the world would make my life happier at the moment, I am due to be a Daddy in the new year & love my partner very much, we are soul mates & finish each others sentences, You can't buy how I feel.
In conclusion having no money is bad.
Having some money & lots of Love is great.
Having loads of money & no love or untrusted love/conditional love is in my opinion not as good.
You need to earn, but many famous people or wealthy end up in rehab in search of the utopia that is love. Many turn to drink & drugs proving money does not buy happiness. It buys yachts & fast cars, which can make you happy if you have a content life, but by no means replace love.
I hope you have both in your life!!

No. Both are equally essential. If you are all love and no money, then love will fly through the window sooner than you think. And a loveless life full of money? Just think of Princess Di.

I have always heard that money can't buy love....but you can rent it for about 30 minutes! I am 44 and been in love a few times. I think I am ready to try the money thing now.

i believe love is very essential for us to live but these days ppl have become very materialistic and run after money rather than love....
but these days money is also an essential aspect of life....
so i think it should be a balance of both love and money....

For me, no way. Some people are material and need $$, items etc to make them feel successful, powerful, happy. But for me, $$ doesn't make me as happy as having all the love in my heart for someone. I would give up everything just to be with the one I truly love.

It depends how shallow & unaware you are of your soul. While two leggeds are increasing being brainwashed to be cold & heartless...they are also increasing using drugs, violence, rudeness & living shallow unfufilled lives.
The question might also be, can fake humans evolve over real ones? Perhaps so...but they will always have to destroy & control others.
Eventually the "superhumans" sometimes referred to as "starpeople" (those who brainwash & control via the internet) will be overthrown by barbarians of their making.
