Why do religious people behave as if God/allah wants them to worship him? why would a god/allah want anyone to worship him?dont you think that makes God/allah nothing but a dictator? dont you think that this idea of a god/allah was invented after human dictators of the past?

This is a practice adopted by orthodox people and I would agree with you to an extent. However if you believe god you at times got to perform them as rituals because it does matter a lot. You have to work in the office and play in the play grounds!!!! just like that. If the belief has to turn in to devotion then you must do them as and when you find time. Just blaming the past dictators wont help you.You are present on this earth because of somebody's past deed. Because of their capability they could dictate terms of God in the best possible way to the mankind.
If you dint believe in god then I am sorry to say it does not make any difference to the god but it does make hell a lot to you.
What I want to say is that, if you can follow them then do it or let it quietly. Otherwise dont blame the past dictators who could be one among your ancestors.

No, God wasnt created by us, we were created in His image. He created us and although he doesnt need anything from us He desires us to love and respect Him because He loves us. Just as we desire those we love, such as our children and spouses to love and respect us, God desires that also from us. He isn't a dictator, He wont force us to worship Him but He hopes we will so that He can do what is best for us and bless us, for how can we receive gifts if we dont accept them?

First of all, make up your mind. Are you refering to God as we Christians believe in or Allah as Muslims believe in?
Anyway, I'm Christian and the Bible tells us that we humans were made to be creatures of worship towards the Living God. Praise Him in the highest! And one more thing, God is NOT a dictator. If He was, then He wouldn't have given us choices and freewill, and the devil would have got his way.
Thank God who is to be eternally worshipped and praised in the highest forever and ever!

Human body has its own resistance towards the virus, when it attcks our parts will fight and donot allow virus to enter in our body. If virus is successful we get the disease.
This is a similar way to fight againest bad thoughts, every body may not have that much will power to avoid bad things. Those who do not have that they will keep there mind engaged with worshiping the God and beliving that if they do bad things god will punish them.

Perhaps you should come to know God for yourself instead of asking yahoo answerer's about him? Which dictator Is it that was tortured and laid down his life for you? It is definitely good to know God and then you will come to understand that is is totaly worthy of worship.

Allaah does not need the creations. He Ordered us to worship Him and by His Eternal Destining, some do and some don't.
The ones who worship Him will have Paradise & those who don't will have Hellfire.

a dictator is a human ruling other humans ..
but in the god situation god does not ruling other gods .. he rules humans .. he rules his own creatures .. so he is not a dictator ..
he have the right to do anything with his creatures .. because he created them . like a man making a robot .. he can do anything with that robot .. ok ..

as u said they are only dictators and they had not insisted anyone to follow them and in holy book of quran it is said that all gods are one.and not only in quran its said in all other holy books too. the followers of there god did this uncessary thing i.e. to follow our god and do not follow others and if possible try to convert them to increase our religions thats it . i think i have answered ur question.

the reason God/Allah created humans and jinnies is to worship Him, as He explained here:
Quran 51
[56] And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).
[57] I seek not any provision from them nor do I ask that they should feed Me
God is not only a dictator, but also the owner of everything, the lord of the kings. to Him belong everything. all this universal is working under his law (science) and under His command. this is your God. worship Him alone. and we are nothing but a slaves/servent of God.
