What a disgusting postscript to your ignorant question. Islam has contributed an enormous amount to culture - especially science, mathematics, architecture, art, textiles and music. Can you claim as much?

One of the things which is most appealing to me about Islam is that it REQUIRES education and continual study by ALL people. While Europe was in the dark ages, and burning books, the Islamic cultures preserved all the known science, philosophy, and literature up to then. There have been many contributions to society by Muslims, but this one is my favorite.
The hatred and terror is not Islam, but evil, and from the way you asked the question, it seems you know already about hatred.

1. Islam was the first religion to give equality to Women.
2. Muslims established the first Universities.
3. Islam told us about the harmful effects of Alcohol and Drugs well before the Scientists.
4. Islam promotes peace.
The Crusaders were all Christians and they all killed the innocent children and women when they first came to Jureslam and when the Muslims came back they spared the Christians if they agreed to surrender while the muslim innocent people werent given a choice.

Islam is not a word but a definition which means submit and surrender to God alone. Judaism came from a person name, Christianity came from the word Christs. neither Moses called his religion Judaism, and neither Jesus called his religion Christianity. True faith does not related to a person name, places or race but to submit to God alone.
