Had a friend who had a Micra and we were driving along one day and it just cut out. Turned out it was the fuel pump. The engine was turning over as normal but just wouldn't start. May possibly be the cause in your case. If so it shouldn't cost a lot to repair

Died while driving I would also suspect the fuel pump stopped working. If it just quit starting it might be Immobilizer. Wrong key will light the key symbol on the instrument cluster. Three attempts with the non programed key will cause the fuel system to shut off. This also stores a difference of key lock code. Available to Nissan Technicians With Consult 2 or the new Consult 3 diagnositc devices. Please take all the keys and remotes with you to the dealership.

i would say its a fuse or relay blown. this will affected the fuel pump. its possible to check the fuses by pulling them out one by one and checking their noe broke. ideally look in the manual and see if one of the fuses or relays work both the fuel pump and indicators. then change the blown one.
