Muslim men, upon reaching heaven, are rewarded with 72 virgins (please correct me if I'm wrong). Are there any heavenly perks for Muslim women? Something to make there stay more enjoyable, perhaps.

First of all there is no such thing that a man gets 72 virgins when he goes to heaven. Every thing a male or women does, whether it be a sin or a good deed has the same status. If a man and women commit adultery for example they are both guilty, not just the women or not just the man. Therefore women and men will be rewarded when they go to heaven according to there deeds. We don't know precisely what's going to happen but we know that is a beautiful place. Both men and women will just have to wait and see. And whatever these people say about virgins etc...is rubbish.

There is no such thing as 72 Virgins. I have never read of anything such thing in Qurran. Your trying to malign and confuse everyone about Islam. Everything Islam teaches has a logical and scientific meaning. Its no wonder the most fastest growing religion in the world.

Thank you for your question.

When one is a true believer in Islam there is no goal of going to heaven. One lives one's life as a believer solely for the purpose of worshiping God. Even to have the goal of going to heaven is a type of idolitry. So one has to be very careful of one's intention.

There is a wonderful story of one of the prophet's (saw) compantions (as) wherein he was found by some of the people planting a tree. They asked him "What would you do right now if you knew the end of the world would come in ten minutes?" his answer was "Finish planting this tree." The meaning of this is that he knew what comes after is what comes after, and what is important now is to live his life in a way that worships his creator. That is the only and the most important thing.

And Allah knows best.

Peace and Blessings,

Salim

The question is a stupid one, Islam is not followed because some weirdoes assume that there are 72 virgins in paradise, you submit to the Almighty and from him yu get your reward.

Any sick perverts out there obviously just look for the dark side in everything and for you I have pity.

Whether you're a man or a woman, these Quranic verses concern you:

"The example of Paradise that is promised for the righteous is this: it has rivers of unpolluted water, and rivers of fresh milk, and rivers of wine-delicious for the drinkers and rivers of strained honey..." (47:15)

All these depiction's are nothing but an 'example', as for the reality, it is beyond depiction and beyond imagination. Our Lord also tells us in another verse:

"No soul knows what is hidden for them of joy and happiness as a reward for what they did." (32:17)

Being in Heaven itself is a reward since the alternative is to go to Hell. What do you want to do in Heaven? You can do whatever you want and Heaven is eternal.

you are wrong about 72 virgins.
Please bring your source as I had read Quran in 3 languages ( arabic, russian, english) and there is no single word about it.

Muslim women have equality in Islam along with men so they are as well rewarded in the Heaven
