My opinion? There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no god, and there are no psychics.
Cheers!

1.) Psychics are nothing more than common magicians, knowing certain vague questions that affect 90% of the people : You have a dead relative, someone who was very close to you, with the letters J, M, or A in their name; your pet went missing once; you were a decent student in your school years, despite the fact they were tough; you had a hearty breakfast yesterday; etc etc..
2.) Psychics know no more about Heaven and Hell than everyone else. What they say is their own opinion. I mean, Sylvia Browne is an acclaimed psychic, but she believes there is a Heaven, but no Hell, and that not only does God exist, but a goddess does as well.
How do I know this? Anyone can become a psychic, and it's not about uber-mental powers... it's about vagueness. Take the Tarot, for instance (back in my new-ager days, my foretelling method of choice)... one card (I believe the King of Cups, though I've long forgotten now) primarily represents a dark man... what can "a dark man" mean? Dark skin, dark hair, dark eyes, dark clothes, an evil demeanor, a man with secrets, a man who hides, a coward, a man with a nighttime job, a man who needs lightbulbs in his lamps at home, any multitude of things. Add another card, the Wheel of Fortune (which represents change or luck)... the dark skinned man changes his skin color, the dark haired man gets a dye job, the dark eyed man buys contacts, the evil man learns good, the man buys lightbulbs, and so on. Still, even with the addition of more cards, the answer is a little more refined, but still equally vague.
If you want to really learn about Heaven and Hell, pray to God for guidance, and read the Bible. You will learn about their reality that way.

I am a Christian and as such I believe there is something in the heaven and hell thing, I'm not sure what exactly though, hell is supposed to be eternal judgment, I have also heard it said that hell is simply the absence of God, it is apparently the holding place for disobediant angels i.e. satan. Heaven I guess is the home of God. I think it is unlikely to be the eternal home of people though, I think if Adam and Eve where designed to live on earth then that may be where we are going to as well. but hey I don't really know, and I don't know anyone who can with any certainty tell me whats really true, my advice is read the bible pray and ask lots of questions and make up your own mind.

I'll just play devil's advocate for a second here... He planted seeds in your mind - in your subconscious, and you merely acted them out over 2 years. Ok, enough.
I think that in order to believe in heaven and hell you have to believe in some form of God - otherwise you lack an explanation of how it was created and the "judge". I'm atheist so..... don't believe in any of it.
From what I've witnessed in the world, most people believe they are going to heaven, some of these same people disgust me (self-righteous arrogant pricks). Does having a Hell encourage people to be "do gooders"? Possibly. Is that a bad thing? No. The world could always use more well intentioned people.

The Bible strickly condemns people from seeking psychics. But having been in the occult myself... 99 percent of the people you meet that call themselves divinators... are fake. The ones that really are... think they can control the spirits when in actuality it is they that control them.
Heaven and hell exist. Recommend you read some of Josh McDowell's books. Start with something easy. "More than a Carpenter" is a good appetizer.
I know there is life after death because I was clinically dead before as a result of a drunk driver striking me and dragging me 300 feet with his truck. I was in a coma 22 days and had 3 years of reconstructive surgeries to walk again. Aint no way someone is going to talk me out of what I experienced... interestingly though.. others have experienced similar events too.
Just talk to any ER doc who has seen a lot of death and ask them what their views are on the subject.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Maybe he didn't like these verses.

My answer to Hell is the life we live here. It can through our own making be Heaven or Hell! Hell is Gehenna - a sulphur pit that all rubbish was thrown in to, including murderers and anyone that committed an offence, whether it be great or small. Heaven to me is the Spiritworld and Heaven is a very apt name for it. The name is simply down to self choice.

I believe that heaven and hell are both how we are experiencing life...i.e if you keep to the guidelines that religions give us then life should be heavenly and if you do the opposite then it will be an experience of hell. Like the saying hell on earth. People like Jesus, Buddha and the like were philosopher's of their time, explaining a way of living.

I used to visit this type of person too, and it's easy to believe in God, but to make up your own version of Him. We can all believe in a God who is what we want Him to be, but how many of us actually bother to look at who He really is? He is real, I met Him in Jesus, and sorry but there is a heaven and a hell, anyone who tells you there isn't is decieved. Read this guys testimony, he has been to both.
