i bought a sony DVD 105E camcorder recently and a pack of panasonic 8cm DVD-RW. I took a video and could not play the DVD-RW in my dvd player. when i insert it into my computer the dvd is empty.

can anyone help me find a solution

Have you finalised the disc yet? Otherwise it might be an older, cheaper DVD player that won't play DVD-RW discs. Similar to old CD players that won't play CD-Rs

Is your camcorder a different make? I've got two different DVD recorders - one Sony & one Panasonic - sometimes there are compatability problems & you have to 'finalize' a disc. I've also had discs that simply won't play.

that happened to me, and the company tried to make me by some software from them for 150.00, so i didnt a system recovery and all my dvds play. Its just something that happend along the way, maybe you deleted a certain file.

Look in the menu/handbook for 'FINALISATION' and make sure this is carried out when you have finished recording tothe blank.

maybe you made a mistake when you wrote the dvd!!
