Its very unusual for anyone with secondry cancer to live for more than 1 year, although the medics will attempt everything to reduce or minimise the cancer before it becomes terminal,i am assuming you or the person you are reffering to, has already went through all the treatment possible,
If this is correct the time left depends on which part of the brain is worst effected, as i said initially 1 year is more than most people get...
sorry

I can tell you that there will be no answer to your question as everyone is different and depending on what type of cancer depends on how quick or slow it progresses, from my experience on looking after people with cancer, It would also be unethical for anyone to give either you or your nan a certain amount of time that she may have left. Just enjoy the time you have with her my darling.

Hi i think you need to contact the person GP or oncologist. What I would be concerned with is how does the person feel about the cancer. To help the person with the trauma and or fear of getting cancer the use of TFT (Thought Field Therapy) is very effective, so if the use of Hypnotherapy. If yo would like to know more about this contact me dochsa.co.uk

it depends on the nature of the cancer. some cancers can cause death in only 6 months while other kinds evolve for 18 months.
it also depends on the location of the cancer...

there's also brain tumors that are not cancers. these tumors can stay for years without causing any symptoms.

It would difficult to honestly answer this question because you haven't told us if it is treatable or not, so I will do my best.
My friend Michelle had this and hers was treatable, she was operated on and this led to other minor problems which she thought were worth it because she had two young children. She is back at work now having had 15 months off work because of it.
I hope this helps!

Your best resource is the Oncologist.

My mother had cancer in her brain - after treatment she had the potential for a long and healthy life.

It depends on the treatment you are getting.
If it is the right treatment it may go also by god's blessings.
I wish you good luck.
Let it not be cancer.
