Why is it that when i see any question that questions your beliefs,
morals, or the history of your religion. i can be guaranteed to see several posts that are not much more than 2 or 3 pages that are cut and pasted directly out of the bible?

Do you not actually have an answer, so you just type a few keywords into an electronic bible and post all responses?

do you have an answer but you believe that the bible will answer it better?

if this is the case why not put it onto your own words and give refrences?

more people will actually read what you have to say
if you say it in your words.

i am not trying to bash here, i really want to understand the philosophy of the "bible posters" why cut and paste 1000 words from the bible and say only 20 of your own?

I admit I will cut and paste 20 words, but 1000's who would ever read that here?

I usually only cut and paste, if the person asks for Christian advice, or where in the bible it says "......."

to many people here, the bible is just an ordinary book, like any other. I don't think many people will cut and paste excerpts from taming of the shrew

And they use the same cut and paste for every single answer no matter what the question. Really - have an original thought occasionally.

You ask questions about faith, we answer with what the bible says. God speaks for His self using the Bible. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." We had questions to and God answered them through the Bible. You shouldn't ask questions if you don't like where the answers come from. What you should ask is why are there scientist and doctors turning to religion?

I always give answers that come from my heart, and if I need to type in a verse or two to help that peoson understand where I'm coming from then I will.

Gods words are more effective! Our own words may tend to mislead or take away from hes!
