My friends and I are having an exitstensial debate over perceptions of reality and the reality that is before us. If all is based on the prior, and the prior is based on the previous, is our reality predetermined? If everyones perception of reality is predetermined, where does the abyss of the eternal spiral take us? Do conclusions exist?

Do we have free will, or are our thoughts and actions all predetermined? Both options lead to paradoxes - and in my opinion, it doesn't really matter at all.

If you knew me well, you'd know that when given a choice, I'll always choose water over beer. My choice may be so predictable that you could regard it as predetermined, but from my perspective, it sure seems like I have free will.

As long as I get to do what I want, why should I even care whether my actions are the result of free will or predetermination? Isn't it really a moot point?

A belief is like unto theory!
You can not prove it but you think with all your heart it is true!

The most important thing is that it works for you!
