One for five minutes & the other for three minutes to time it with?

Come on! Make it more difficult!
Start the timers at the same time. When the first 3 minute timer is out of sand, start your eggs.
I know you can come up with more of a challenge!

Set both timers off together! When the 7 minute one runs out. START boiling the egg! There are still 4 minutes left on the 11 minute timer, as soon as these 4 minutes are over, restart the 11 minute timer. Now the egg has boiled for 4 minutes and will boil for a futher 11 minutes which makes a total of exactly 15 minutes!!!.

try looking at the second hand of a clock or watch instead or check the timer mode on your cell phone
