We were dating for a month, he called often, we went out, (affection, but no sex). Then stopped calling for a few days. Said he was scared, it was moving too fast. He still calls and says he wants to get together, just slow things down. But, we haven't seen each other. Is he letting me down easy?

Think he could have realized this is getting pretty serious, and he's unsure if you really are the one he'd like to get serious with. Slow things down and see what happens, dont put your hopes up but dont screw things up with other guys or anything. He'd just stop calling and stuff if he had found someone else, and that would be the case he'd just be an idiot who you wouldnt have to give a moments thought to.

most of these guys are giving you silly answers, it means he is scared!! you cud have been treating him like a future husband and he realizes you are too nice and since he is not on the same page of wanting a wife he is worried/scared he might hurt you since he cares for you,but that does not mean he does not want to get serious with you' he needs time to catch up!!! another thing is when one person moves things too fast, i mean is sure she wants to settle down with the guy even if the guy loves you he gets cold feet, coz he wonders what if he hurts you what if what if.. what ifs... so take time off the relationship lay back wait and see, ...the lion that goes slow...captures the prey remember that!!!

when gurls move fast and into a relationship its like pushing a tiger into a corner it can become clasterphobic. I am not sure he is letting you down slow, it may be he wants to be your man just not at that pace. He may have relationship issues before you came around and this may scare him a little.

No, he's not letting you down. He's just not fully decided if he wants your relationship with him to go to the depths of sex etc. Give him a bit of time to organise himself and the rest will be free flow. He sounds nice.

He may like you a lot and the feelings he has may be new to him and it is scaring him. If he still wants to get together, let it happen and don't push him.
He also may not want a relationship now either, so tread carefully.

Lots of answers to this. it could be past scars, there could be someone else, or the other possibility is he is trying to get you worried so you will sleep with him. kind of the hard to get thing. Without knowing the person there is no way to say for sure.

He is probably confused because there is also another girl in his life. He wants to take it slow so he can decide which one he will end up with.

you've not slept with him.. and its only afftection. I'm missing the part where he says it was moving too fast.

I feel its a way to get you in bed, faster and probably this guy thinks it will work. Will it?

he is still looking for someone, wants to check whether he will. if not he will come back to u. u can play with him saying it doesn't suit u. slow things re not fo r u. see what he will do. if he desides to go alone with "your speed" it means u mean smth for him. if not - well, he wasn't the one for u after all

Emotions are a bombshell. He might really be scared that he feels too much for you, or he might not want to see you again!
