click the my account option and then click the edit button ,there ull see a option "delete account" when u click this button ure account will b deleted.and then u can make a fresh account by signing up

as far as I know you can only delete your own answers up till the answer goes to a vote. You can try deleting your account but even if you could all your answers would still be there on the answer pages. it would mess up the system if people could delete acounts. all the questions they got best answer on would no longer have best answers. and other problems.
I think all you can do is let this account go idle and start anew. who knows maybe at a later date you might want to renew the idle account. If you have another email address you can open another account.

I don't think you can delete an account. Just stop using it and use a different sign in name!

I think its you cannot delete. I tried doing as Mel has suggested but there is no "delete account" option as she had mentioned.

why? what have you said to be ashamed of? who are you hiding your answers from or your questions? I think you have to delete from advanced, or you could go to HELP on the top right hand corner.
