why do dogs and cats hate each other?

I don't think they do hate each other.. I think dogs see cats as soft cuddly play things, and cats don't really like to play...
but...that's just my guess...

Dogs like the thrill of chasing & cats..well..survival instincts is to run & hate the enemy..but this ain't always true..i got a dog & cat that get on well together

i dont think they do hate each other..probably people see dogs chasing cats and they think dogs dont like cats. mostly unless the cats irritate the dogs, the dogs just like chasing games with their furry pals.

They dont...If i could post a picture i would be able to show you my three cats and two dogs sleeping together and play and clean each other....

mmmmmmmm are 2 dogs and 5 cats gets alone just great.it is how you put them together.
